Going Bovine

WOW!!! This was a great book! Initially, I felt that the book was very intense and suspenseful. The title alone makes it suspenseful and makes you wonder what could this book could possibly be about. Bray does wonders with the characters! She makes them come to life and while reading the book you could see them in your mind. Teenagers/young adults could relate very well with the characters in this book and the problems that they face. Bray does a fanastic job keeping the characters active and full of drama. Early in the book, Bray shows how teenagers and parents sometimes have a hard time connecting. But, after Cameron gets sick, Bray's characters suddenly change and the family shows a connection never before seen in the book. I believe Cameron shows the most change throughout the book. His transformation was unbelievable and I'm sure many young adults could relate to this character!

Like young adult books should be, the plot of this story is very important! Bray does a fanastic job keeping the plot fast pace and exciting! Keeping the plot fast paced and full of excitment allows teeenagers to enjoy the book and keeps their attention! There was never a dull moment in this book! Bray keeps the plot of the book full of twists and excitment by switching between the hospital and Cameron's journey. By doing this it keeps the reader curious and on their toes at all times! This makes for a fanastic book!

This was a great book for young adults and adults! My eighteen year old cousin read this book and she absoutley LOVED it!! She said she connected with Cameron in the story. She said when looking for a book to read, she looks for books that she can connect with, such as the characters, etc.

Great novel! Would recommend this book to young adults or adults!
