Everything Matters!

I was able to find each one of the books in the library for class except this one. I ordered it from Amazon and I just received it. This is the same author of a somewhat controversial book in our area about god being dead as he was eaten by wild dogs as he came back in a woman's form so it will be interesting to see how far the author takes this book. I have mixed emotions about reading this book but as a librarian we are to be open-minded about all books. We've already had several book challenges in our school in the past and that was just in elementary. First few pages already talking about his mother and father having rough sex so I am going to read some more tonight to see if this comet obliterates life on Earth and see what happens to this prophetic boy. Have I got your attention yet? Not letting my 3 girls read this one quite yet :)
